Welcome to Rispain Cottage self catering accommodation situated in the old county of Wigtownshire and in the attractive, peaceful Whithorn peninsula in S.W. Scotland localy known as The Machers.

Formally two dairymen's cottages now coverted and upgraded into a beautiful and relaxing holiday cottage. The accommodation for up to four people comprises of two double bedrooms one with shower room en suite and a twin bedroom. Evenings can be spent in the sitting room by the cosey open fire or watching the sun go down from the consevatory. There is a fully equiped modern kitchen and a family bathroom.
The cottage within it's own 2.5 acres of garden, paddock and field, is set amongst rolling pasture and working arable farmland.

Everything, included in the price, to make your stay comfortable and relaxing has been provided: tv, video, dvd, cd, microwave, washer/drier, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, logs and coal for the fire, bed linen, towels, gas bbq, picnic table in the paddock, table chairs and parasol on the deck over the pond at the bottom of the garden.

A wealth of wildlife awaits you: hares, deer, foxes, badgers, stoats, kestrels, sparrowhawks, buzzards, yellowhammers, whitethroats, goldfinches etc.
